Current Issues Research...What Do You Know....

Let your opinion be known!  Choose a partner, then choose an issue to research.  You will be looking up information to support your point of view either for or against one of the following topics on the topics page.

Before you start looking up information, think about what you already know about the subject.  Do you have an opinion? What are some of the reasons you believe as you do? Thinking before you start searching can help you save time in the long run.  Go to Step One to learn more.

Where do you Go? How do They Know?

Where is the best place to go to find the information you need?  There are many information sources:  books, web sites, newspapers and magazines (both print and electronic versions).  You can even ask people either in person or on line in an "ask an expert" forum. 

In the age of electronic information you my find there is so much available you get lost looking for what you need.  Sometimes you have to dig around on a site to find what is really helpful.  Think of it like treasure hunting -- sometimes you have to dig to get to the good stuff!
